FROM: SECAF Barry Jeter DATED: 20091112 MATTER: EXERCISE ANGEL THUNDER NOV 21 2200Z KADM Team, We will be conducting Exercise Angel Thunder on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 2200Z. This exercise will be run and conducted by SIM AIR FORCE. This exercise involves special forces, airlift, close air support, and fighter CAP/interdiction/Suppression of Air Defense mission. GCI/AWACS/FAC-A/JTACS will be involved. We have invited other Virtual Air Forces and we got a projected participation by one new one the Virtual Australian Defense Force and they are projected to participate with at least 6 or more pilots. Those that want to participate please contact your MAJCOM or Squadron commander by Monday Nov 16. I know that some of you still in SUPT training would like to participate. We will make every effort to get your through SUPT and those of you that make it to BAQ - we will give you a waiver and allow you to participate in your operational aircraft and count the sortie(s) as part of your BAQ. Again we have a strong commitment from one newly formed VSOA and possible a commitment from two others. Since we are the home team we need to exceed the number of foreign participants!
