| Vice Chief of Staff has declared HURCON 3 for bases in Western Georgia and South Carolina as Tropical Storm Fay is forecasted to clear the florida east coast and out into the atlantic. The storm is forecasted to strengthen to Hurricane Strength and curve back northwest possibly making a third landfall around the Georgia/Florida border area. AMC units stand by for FEMA and Homeland security contingencies. |

Hurricane Condition 1 is declared by the Vice Chief of Staff for bases in Florida. The forecast calls for the arrival of a tropical storm with 50-knot (58 mph) sustained winds or greater is possible within 12 hours.
Tropical storm Fay is now moving to the N at 9 mph. This storm will be moving toward SW Florida on tuesday A.M. Fay will bring tropical storm force winds begining Tuesday A.M. and may last through Tuesday evening.
Top winds are 60mph, but could reach hurricane force (75 mph) before making landfall. It's center is at 25.0 N. and 81.9W. A hurricane warning is in effect from Flamingo Springs to Anna Maria Island.
